Saras is an innovative social awareness non government organisation [NGO]. Running under the aegis of Harish Chandra Sharma. At Saras, our social activities are directed at creating awareness through specialization programs such as:
I. Undertaking Sports Activities
II. Village, Community based social programs
III. Cultural Activity
IV. Create ECO Friendly Programs

Saras at present, has over 300 active updating members and Angan Wari, who can do field work help at the Talukdar and Regional levels.

Can we ever come out from this drudgery?

Deghat is a small hill town, strategically located in the hinterlands of scenic state of Uttrakhand. The region has recived less attention and as the result, it has poor education system and low employment rate. Can we ever come out from this drudgery?

Over 100 village children are dependent on a single inter college, and moreover inter college has no adequate facilities to provide the children with desired education, let alone the advanced training in education. My friends, just think how you'd have felt while leaving your very own home town, Deghat, to eye for jobs in cosmopolian and metropolitan towns!!! Give your free views on this!!!

I have learnt through hard ways in my life and know what importanmce education holds in our lives! Don't you want our own pretty Deghat to prosper???

Can we ever come out from this drudgery?

Final Girls Cricket Match is being organized be SARAS at Deghat Uttrakhand on 24th of January 2010.

The match is organized under the supervision of Saras Society, and where eleven school teams from Uttrakhand participated. The Final Match is left to be decided between the top two Finalist Teams.
